Estefania Escobar has a B.S. and M.S. in Environmental Engineering from the University of Michigan. As part of her research work, she assisted in the construction and validation of a novel, low-cost IoT water quality sensor for household tap installation. During the large-scale deployment of these sensors in Ann Arbor, MI, she was responsible for monitoring and analyzing the drinking water quality data from the wireless sensor network and performing maintenance on the sensors. At Trussell Technologies, she assists in bench-scale testing for treatment process simulation, performs various laboratory analyses for water quality, and aids in the preparation of technical reports for water treatment and reuse projects.
