Mitchel (Mitch) Bartolo has a B.S. in Environmental Engineering Science from the University of California at Berkeley and a M.S.E. in Environmental and Water Resources Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. Throughout Mr. Bartolo’s professional career, he has contributed to several aspects of potable reuse projects around California including pathogen crediting, Regional Water Quality Control Board and Division of Drinking Water regulatory approval, pilot and demonstration facility testing, and advanced treatment process selection and design. His general interests include water reuse, water and wastewater treatment, and the realization of sustainable water resources in California. He served as the WateReuse San Diego Chapter President in 2025 and continues to be active in the WateReuse Association at the national, state, and local levels. Mr. Bartolo is currently a registered Civil Engineer in the State of California and is based out of Trussell’s San Diego office where he serves as Water Reuse Lead for the company.
