Kaitlyn Chin has a B.S. and M.S. in Environmental Engineering from the University of Michigan. While at U of M, she assisted two PhD students on investigating virus fate in water matrices and predictive modeling of virus inactivation by UV disinfection. Her previous research involved exploring methods and analysis of detecting SARS-CoV-2 in daily wastewater samples to predict trends using wastewater-based epidemiology. Her current work at Trussell Technologies involves water quality sampling and data collection, aiding in design projects, and the preparation of technical reports.
