Ben Christensen has a B.S. in Environmental Engineering and an M.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. While at Cal Poly, Ben aided in a bench scale forward osmosis desalination study and made contributions to an algae biofuel project. Before returning for the master’s degree, he spent time as a lab technician for a winery on the central coast of California. Ben’s masters work pulled from a project he began at Trussell as a summer intern which sought to develop a high-frequency data processing control framework for an ozone disinfection system in a direct potable reuse scenario. At Trussell Mr. Christensen continued his work on this project in addition to assisting in the operation of reverse osmosis piloting, routine water quality data collection and analysis, and technical report writing.
