Aidan Hasegawa is an Engineer I at Trussell Technologies with several years of advanced water, drinking water, and wastewater experience. He has a B.S. in Civil & Environmental Engineering from University of California, Los Angeles, and a M.S. in Civil & Environmental Engineering from University of California, Berkeley. At Trussell, Aidan has helped design multiple water reuse projects, such as the Chino Basin Program Indirect Potable Reuse demonstration facility and the Moulton Niguel Water District Direct Potable Reuse demonstration facility. He has engaged with a wide variety of tasks, such as conducting tracer tests to determine the hydraulics of chlorine contact basins, analyzing wastewater data to evaluate solids formation in a brine line, writing UV spot-check bioassay reports that establish site-specific operating conditions, and working on preliminary treatment designs for the removal of contaminants such as PFAS and iron and manganese. Aidan is excited to continue growing his engineering expertise and hopes that his projects create a positive impact on the world.
