Bryan Trussell has a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of California at Berkeley and a M.S. in Environmental Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Mr. Trussell is a registered Civil Engineer in the State of California with more than 24 years of work experience. Bryan worked for 9 years with the City of Los Angeles, Bureau of Sanitation, before joining Trussell in 2012. Since joining Trussell, Bryan has worked on process treatment and permitting of multiple reuse projects in California, including Los Angeles’ Groundwater Recharge Program, IEUA’s Chino Basin Program, and Pure Water Las Virgenes-Triunfo. Bryan has led several research efforts, including bench and pilot testing of the first UV-Cl2 advanced oxidation process at Terminal Island, assessing pathogen removal through membrane bioreactors at Metropolitan Water District of Southern California, and evaluating the benefits of Soil Aquifer Treatment for tertiary spreading applications.
